Consider the different areas in your life – work, relationships, family, personal time, money, creativity, spirituality, health. When you think about each one, do you have a positive, satisfied feeling? Or do anxieties and doubts arise? Do you try to avoid thinking about certain areas where things are not going as you would like them to, but you don’t know how to change things?
EFT, sometimes known as “tapping”is a simple technique where we tap on certain points on the face and hands to clear negative emotions and dissolve unhelpful habits. Clients are frequently amazed at the ease with which old patterns of behaviour dissolve using this simple therapy, which they can learn and use at home for themselves.
Experiencing a lack of confidence in certain situations and limiting beliefs about oneself also respond really well to EFT. Old viewpoints melt away and are seen for what they are – out of date beliefs which no longer serve us. We suddenly perceive our worth, talents and potential with fresh eyes and feel able to move forward into more rewarding personal relationships or roles at work.
EFT is a fantastic tool in times of change when we feel unsure of the best direction to take or choice to make. As we tap, clouds of negative and conflicting emotions clear away, leaving us feeling more connected to our real selves and our true feelings about the situation. When we gain this kind of inner clarity, it often becomes far easier to see what we need to do next.
If you’re not living the kind of life you’d like to, don’t simply accept it as “the way things are”. Changing our inner feelings and beliefs can lead to wonderful transformation of our outer lives – and it is often much easier than you think!
